Paint protection film is a clear, self-healing layer applied over the paint. It protects against stone chips, scratches, insects, road salt and UV – without changing how the car looks.
Premium film such as STEK lasts many years – the warranty on the film we apply runs to 12 years. Durability depends on how the car is used and looked after.
Yes. A professional removes it without damaging the factory paint, which stays protected and as new.
A ceramic coating is a thin layer that makes washing easier and helps against dirt, but it will not stop a stone chip or a scratch. PPF is a thick physical shield that protects the paint mechanically. For real protection against damage, PPF is the answer.
Film changes the colour reversibly, leaves the factory paint intact and protects it at the same time – the car keeps its value. A respray is permanent and irreversible. For most premium cars, film is the better option.
Yes. Coloured PPF changes the colour completely and reversibly – in gloss, matte or satin – while still protecting the paint.
At 1PM we work with PPF from three manufacturers. All of them are TPU films with a hydrophobic top coat and self-healing scratch recovery, and they differ in finish and purpose:
We always choose the film individually, for the colour of the paint, how the car is used and the coverage required. The easiest way to settle it is a free quote: we look at the car and recommend a specific option.
It depends on the coverage and the model – the front package from 4 500 zł, clear protection for the whole car from 12 000 zł, a matte finish from 13 000 zł and a colour change from 14 000 zł. We confirm the exact price after seeing the car.
No. The front package is often enough (bonnet, bumper, mirrors, headlights, sills) – the zones that take the most damage. Full coverage makes sense on premium cars or when changing the colour.
Normal washing is enough – STEK film is durable and self-healing. Avoid aggressive chemicals and do not hold a pressure washer close to the edges of the film.
